a bit of an update, received the birth registration of my G Grandfather - Thady Coggans just the other day. Parents Thomas and Nelly Finaghty. Thomas' mother probably was the witness...although she is listed as Molly [name Mary] Feeny but...spelling seems to be very flexible on all the records.

Also found death record for Nelly's mother, Nelly Boland Fenaghty just a couple weeks before his birth...
