Thomas Kaveney was convicted Sligo March 1821, sentence 7 years, and transported to NSW in 1822.
He was born 1795-1800 and surname spellings vary, and ended as Cavanagh. In 1823 he was on a list of "convicts capable of maintaining their families on arrival in the colony", and his wife Mary Cavanagh and 1 child were "of the parish of Emlefad near Ballymote, known to the Revd F. Boland and W Michl McDonough, Ballymoate".
His brother Francis, born c1809, was convicted Sligo 15/3/1825 of stealing heifers, transported to NSW in 1826.
