ok, it has been a few years now since the last post, and I am still wondering about the ROACH connection to Tobin. Does anyone have information on Margaret Roach? I'd sure like to see if there is a connection.
As I stated earlier, a John Tobin acknowledged my great grandfather James Roach b July 1842 made a good candidate to be a US citizen. My great grandfather was known to farm from Madison, WI to Chicago, IL, Red Oak, IA and in parts of South Dakota. He was from County Mayo and died in Red Oak, IA.
Also, I could talk my sister into looking up any information in Kane Co, IL as she still lives there. Thanks
