I am searching for information on a
Sarah Melampy/Mellamphy who was born in Tipperary around 1820/1824. She was an assisted immigrate to Port Phillip, Victoria Australia on the Agricola. The Agricola left Cork June 1841 and arrived in Port Phillip Bay on 3 October 1841. Sarah married a John Hall from Lancashire in Melbourne on 19 March 1847. Sarah dired in Ballarat Victoria on 21 February 1888. She may have travelled on the Agricola with her sisters Mary and Catherine. Sarah's trade was listed as housemaid, she was Roman Catholic and she could read and her bounty was 19 pounds.

Her death certificate does not list her father's given name but lists his occupation as Pig Dealer.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Jean Jones
