I have no connection with the Churchill family, but I was born and reared near Littleton village, Co. Tipperary. I was interested to read the posts relating to the area, and I came on the Churchill thread.
I transcribed the grave memorials from Ballymoreen (aka Ballymureen) graveyard which is about half a mile south of Littleton village, some years ago.
I came across one Churchill memorial which reads:
Here lies the body of
dep. 20 of March 1796 aged 25 years.
Also his sister
BETTY BOULS alias CHURCHILL
departed Oct the 6th 1793 aged 22 years.
I have a photo which I can forward on if it is of interest.
There is another memorial which mentions a lady Hughes (nee) Church, but this may be a red herring, but here is the inscription anyhow.
Erected by Mary Bulbrig al Hughes
in memory of her father Hugh Hughes who depd
this life Novr the 1st 1797 aged 78 years.
Also his wife Ann Hughes alias Church
who departed this life July the 7th 1814 aged
A connected memorial to the Hughes one reads:
Erected by Wm Hughes of Littleton in memory of his beloved sister Mary Bulbridge
alias Hughes who departed this life Novr 15th 1819 aged 47 years.
Chearful in death she closed her eyes.
God caled her of her pain
Hoping at the ----
And live with him again.
Also the body of Anne Hughes daughter of the above named Wm
who departed...(rest of inscription is buried)
Spellings as they appear on the memorials.
