Hello,

Saw your 2002/2012 reply and wanted to weigh in. My family of Graces were baptised in Monsea, townland Ardgregane which is literally down the road from Carrow. I believe James and Sarah (Meagher) Grace (My Great, Great grand parents) may have actually lived in Carrow not Ardgregane. Griffiths Valuation shows a James and John as leasing from William D. Ferrar in Carrow right before the period that the children were baptized. There is no James in Ardgregane in the Griffiths Valuation, just a John and Anne Grace. Just a thought.

Your Margaret O'Meara may be my Margaret Meagher who was a sponsor at a few of the baptisms along with Stephen and Thomas Meagher. By the way, do you thick Carrick, Carhue and Carrow could be one and the same place?
