Hello Eilis,
Thank you for your reply. All the information I have is as follows:
John Grogan was born approx 1880 [place unknown]. He sold the blacksmiths shop to a Fitzpatrick before he enlisted in the british army in 1914. His wife [name unknown] died approx 1917. Michael, the eldest child, was born 12.07.01, the youngest child, James was born in 1916. The remaining children, Mary Ellen,Josephine and Thomes were obviously born between 1901 and 1916. Michael enlisted in the royal artillery in england sometime between the wars. He was called up in the reserves in the 2nd world war and was stationed around salisbury. He married a Bridget Nolan from 41 Daniel St. Dublin. She was born around 1897 - 1900. Her sisters were Chrissie, Essie and Mary. I am afraid that is all I know. Hope you can help.
