UPDATE: My letter to the magazine "Irish Roots" was addressed in the 2011 (4th Quarter) issue 80, on news stands now, in the column "A problem shared- with Paul Gorry".

The gist of the response is my Ryan clan probably was from Galbooly Townland and were in the Moycarky RC parish. Since baptismal records exist for the period after 1830, there is a good chance my GG Grandparents children William (1828), Mary (1830), John 1831 my Great grandfather, Ellen (1832/33), Margaret (1836), and Jo(h)anna (1840) may appear in those baptismal records. It would be great if they do.
