The second attachment is absolutely my family. I have the same census, 1901, which I obtained on microfilm from the LDS church. That was in Derrymore, the house had 2 rooms with 3 windows.
I did find for the same year (1901) for the Bunkerhill Street
Katherine Moaten as head of family, aged 50 years, widowed
daguther Katherine aged 26 and daughter Bridet, aged 19.
There was also, Thomas Moton, aged 34, on Chapel Lane St.
I the townland of Carville lived William Moten Letson as head of a family. He was aged 39. This is still in Roscrea, of Tipperary Co., but he was born in Kings County, his wife Bridget was born in Galway Co., but all of their young children were born in Tipperary Co.
I hope this isn't too confusing.
The IGI recorded a Thomas Moten b. 1 May 1868 in Bourney, Tipperary Co, parents Patrick Moten and Cathrine Treacy.
There was also a Mary Anne Motone, born 2 Feb 1865 in Roscrea, Tipperary County, with parents James Motone and Catherine Larkin.
My Motens center in Madison, Onondaga, and Chenango Counties of NY state. But some of them lived in NYC and did come to visit my grandfather.
With all the census and records that are available it seems like I could have it all sorted out by now but....
