Our Wilson info is from family members, census, gravestones, LDS and local church records.
Thank you, thank you. You have opened a door for my wife. Her father died in the 1960’s when she was young, but she remembers talk of a great grand mother being Church of Ireland and she could never find where! She met a member of the Wilson family for the first time two weeks ago, her second cousin and was told there was CoI in the family, but WAY-WAY-BACK. So to see your brilliant note means a lot to her. We both now seem to have bits on the same Wilson family, it is tantalising close to putting the jigsaw together. Further good news, we were told last week of another Wilson second cousin that is due back for Xmas and wait for it; they have been working on the Wilson tree as well. My wife’s grandmother Anne Maher (nee Wilson) is buried with the Wilsons in Ballymoreen but they never put her on the headstone! Also two of Anne’s children are buried there as well.
Thank you again
