I'm assuming Dubbo, Bathurst and Aberdeen are in Australia?
I couldn't find a Dubbo in Ireland? There is Dublin?

I can see where you might be stuck. The name Maher in Tipperary North Riding in 1852 numbered 992 and in
Tipperary South Riding numbered 570.

There is an Irish History Foundation with birth records for Tipperary North and South Ridings but it is a pay website even if not for profit. www.rootsireland.ie

Tithe Applotments a tax on land www.genealogy.nationalarchives.ie 1820-1839

Griffith Valuation 1852, tax on land
www.faileromhat.com then for more detail try:
www.askaboutireland.ie

The only census that have survived are 1901/1911
www.census.nationalarchives.ie

The only thing you might find is the names of children
are usually family names. John is just way too common, Edward not so much. Mary same as John but Alice is
fairly unusual.
