hello Roy, not sure if your still checking this link, but I fondly remember the old Ireland homestead, which stood in the Townland of Glenary, part of St Marys Parish Clonmel, co, Tipperary, but the house itself is in Waterford County, as St Marys parish crossed over the river Suir, and served portion of both Counties, as far as i recall Jessie Ireland as she was known was one of the last of that family, she married a man named Sheehan, in Kilmeaden in county Waterford, and her son Jack still lives in the village as far as i know, the old ruin of the house is still standing in part, in a beautiful location on the side of the Glenary Valley Jesse Ireland was born in 1903 to William Ireland, and her mother Annie St John, Jessie sadly passed away in 2001, in the 98 year of her age, and to my knowledge is interred in Kilmeaden, there was a dedication written to her in the Irish times at the time of her death which may elicit more information, i know the Ireland family left Glenary when there father took up a position on an Estate in Kilkenny, if i can be of some assistance let me know, Sincerely yours Ben Guiry
