Classification: Query
Surnames: CHRISTMAS
THOMAS CHRISTMAS (1622-1704) Waterford merchant and mayor and high sheriff in Waterford. Also listed in Ancestry.com, (Irish Landed Gentry) as a one of the "Forty-Nine" officers "who served Charles II, or Charles I, in the Wars of Ireland, before the 5th day of June, 1649. Does this mean he was not necessarily a participant with Cromwell in his wars against the Irish? Is there any more information about Thomas?

CATHERINE CHRISTMAS (b. circa 1730's) Married to Col. RICHARD GORGES. Catherine is alledged to be the mother of JOHN CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS, a ship captain who moved to Copenhagen and established the Danish branch of Christmas family. Catherine was a sister-in-law of a LADY BERESFORD. I am looking for any information regarding CATHERINE. .
