I have just learnt that a family member was "sent away" and put into an institution in Co Waterford, from their home in Co Wexford. I am unsure as to why, although I have been told that it could have been a mental health issue. This would have happened after 1911. Can anyone give me any info into any places in Waterford my relative might have been sent and how you go about finding records, if any exsist.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
