I know there was a large building on the island until about 1916. My forebears used to live in it, I think as tenants. I have an old map which calls it Castle, but I think it was just a large house. It was situated on the southern edge of Lake Deravaragh. On the map there was a boathouse noted. I have some numbers a letters on the map, not sure what they mean. I can't find any reference to this building anywhere, and of course no pictures. Can anyone help, please ?
