I live in Australia and for some time have been researching my family tree especially my Great Grandmother Ann Gibney who I believe came from the County of Meath, Ireland. I know a lot about her from when she married Thomas Winfield on the 27/12/1836 but have no knoeledge of how she travelled to Tasmania,where she came from, who her parents were etc no background at all. When I read your message the dates seem to be very close. I believe Ann was born between 1799-1805.
