I don't have a Rose Merlihan in my records, but I do have the Merlihan surname show up twice as baptismal sponsors to my Murray relatives in Delvin/Ballynaskeagh as follows. The records are from teh Church of the Assumption in Delvin.

Thomas Merlehan and Mary Murray witnesses to the baptism of Nicholas Murray, 20 Sept. 1898 and

Margaret Merlehan and Edward Kiernan witnesses to the baptism of Kate Murray. 16 Jan 1887.
