Hi, I realize your posting was 10 years ago, but maybe you will still receive this message. I am searching for a Michael McTague ,born about 1820 in Ireland, who immigrated to Albany, NY sometime before 1860. He appears on the 1860 Census there and died there bet. 1875-80. There are no clues as to where in Ireland he was from so any info would be helpful. Found out that most people with McTague spelling are from Leitrim or nearby counties. Thanks!
