Classification: Query
Surnames: Leavy, Ennis, Hogan
The Leavy name shows up commonly in the RC Parish of Clonmellon which includes the civil parish of Killalon and the townlands of Geighanstown and Archerstown. The Leavy family appears in the cemeteries at Archerstown (and Killalon, I believe, as well). In fact, my family held much of Geighanstown as lessees from the 1730s to @1880. The original family lessees from the Earls of Fingal were HOGANs . In 1848, Rebecca Hogan m. Edward ENNIS who took over the lease. When the ENNISes left for America 1879-1880, the LEAVY family took over the land. Good luck to you! Sharon
