Hi: I can't look on the History Foundation website anymore for people as it even costs to look as of April 2012.
You can see the Parish's though and Rochfortbridge Parish records from 1821.

When you listen to stories about Ireland and probably everywhere there are all sorts of men leaving a family moving a few miles or more and setting up with someone else
and starting a whole new family*.

My own father found out at 50 that he had a step-family living three villages away that were younger than he and he was only born in 1925.

*I've been watching Who Do You Think You Are UK (6th. season) and USA (2nd. season) and the Irish ones always seem to have an overabundance of this kind of story.
