Classification: Query
Surnames: O'Brien, Kehoe, Cushing, Stafford, Larkin, McFadden, Gibbons
My great-grandmother Margaret STAFFORD was from Ballyvarogue (Ballyvarig).
She was born about January 1 1850. Other researchers have told me that there were two STAFFORD brothers John and Martin descended from Thomas STAFFORD born in 1767. John
and Martin reportedly lived on different farms in Ballyvarig. Martin STAFFORD may have had a daughter Margaret that was reportedly born about 1846. The differences in dates is 4 years but I am wondering if this is the family of my great-grandmother.

Margaret came to the US in 1869 through the port of New York. In the US Census of 1870 Margaret was listed as living in Baltimore City and working as a servant. Margaret married Edward Kehoe, the son of James Kehoe, and
Mary Furlong (from Ramsgrange)January 15, 1872.

First I was hoping someone could help me to determine whether Margaret
Stafford, my great-grandmother, is a relative of either Martin or John.

Stafford families reportedly still live in Ballyvarig. I would like to contact them but I'm not sure how to do so.
I tried searching on the internet without any help.Margaret. Could someone help me obtain an
address for the STAFFORD family or families living in Ballyvarig?

Also, does anyone know what parish this family may have belonged so I can inquire about my family via a request to the parish rector.

Thank you for any assistance!
