My Mum`s second cousin Dick Hillis and his nephew live in Fannystown House. Are we talking about the same house? When I visited them some time ago, there was some reference to their house being built on the site of an old castle. The previous owner was William Warriner who had married my Mum`s aunt,Elinor Hillis. They had no family and so the house passed down through the family to the present owner.
