Dear Marilyn,

Would you believe it, we're looking at same 6000m distant dot on the map and our home being in LO makes us neighbors!

As to research your library provides genealogy computers free including 10 hard copies per day (providing you're using the dedicated family research designated computers). Ancestry and Heritage are free. From your home lancashirebmd.com is free = (births, deaths and marriages)

Many Irish born left for Liverpool and stayed there either to raise the cash to emigrate or live permanently. Watch out for the reverse pass = My Grand Dad Edward Wall featured
in the 1901 Dunlavin census married in Liverpool May 1860 but all 9 of their children were born in Dunlavin = some if not many came back to Ireland as the famine receded bringing home children born in the Capital if Ireland = Liverpool.

Good luck pete
