I'm searching for information on my great grandfather, John Wall (married to Russell). One of his daughters (my grandmother) Bridget O'Brien nee Wall, born 1880 in Dublin, died 1965 at 43 Botanic Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin. I have a letter dated 12/4/34 written to her by her cousin, Pierce Wall of Mill House, Colbinstown, Co Kildare in which an aunt Ann Wall (later Mrs Kingsman/UK) and a cousin named Miss Bessie O'Callaghan of Ballinacrow, Stratford-on-Slaney, Co. Wicklow are mentioned. A newspaper obituary (1958) names a Pierce Wall of Colbinstown etc who died aged 97 at a Dublin nursing home and whose burial was to take place in Crookstown Cemetry (?). Mill House is described as being situated "opposite the Station Master's house on the right as you enter the railway station from Dublin". Although Colbinstown is cited in the letter as Kildare, on the map it appears to be located in Wicklow now. The brothers were said to work as 'land stewards' for the O'Mahoneys (?) of Wicklow. I have no information on my g/g/grandmother other than her maiden name was Russell.
