Have you looked at the birth records for Dublin City:

the bmd's for the county of Dublin is divided into North and *South on a Irish History Foundation, fee paying but
not for profit.

There are many directories for Dublin including my resource which shows 25 hits in 17 directories for the name of Holden, more specifically 3 for Dublin City but they are 1846. You can see 1846 at at

Had to look up Bohernabreena as it wasn't familiar to find
that it was a Townland in the Parish of Tallaght in the Union of Dublin South* (the church maybe located in Bohernabreena)
None of the names are in the RC Parish listings of bmd's
on an Irish History Foundations. It may be amalgamated
with another parish and have a different name. I will need to look that up.

Some South Dublin gravestones inscriptions may be available in Cantwell's inscriptions project but I looked up Holden and none listed.

Griffith Valuation of South Dublin took place in 1849 and there are 19 Holden's listed.

You might want to post on the South Dublin message board
as well.

ps St. Anne's Parish/Bohernabreena south west of Dublin City it is RC and serves two churches St.Anne's and
