Seeking information on DUFF families who were in the Highlands of Scotland in 1600's and some of them moved into Aberdeen area sometime after that. Particularly looking for descendents of Patrick DUFF of Craigston, b. 1655-d. 1731 who had a total of 36 children by two wives. #1 wife, Anne INNES 13 children; #2 wife, Mary URQUHART 23 children. Is there a list somewhere of names and birth/christening dates of all 36 children??? Believe Patrick DUFF is the father of my ancestor, Samuel Henry DUFF b. c.1700-1720. He fled Scotland to N. Ireland then to the American Colonies c. 1750.
