Mainly I hate to see messages left unanswered, but I am taking a stab that your Dawson's and mine might cross somewhere. Now the only thing is should I tell the whole story or just outline it. :)

MARGARET DAWSON:
Married Andrew McGowan (B: 1867 in Old Monkland (Caulderbank), Lanark, Sco.) And had 5 or 6 Children.
It is possible she had Relatives who settled in New York, New York around 1880 to 1905 for we have a picture (seen on the McGowan Genealogy Site at:
which is dated ca 1901 to 1904 with her son Hugh, who died as an infant. I have a note that indicates that he may have visited a sister, who was married, and I can't remember where I came up with that information from. ;)
That about tells the full tale, my brother (
PMCMAR@aol.com ) may have more data on this than I.
I would really appreciate finding someone who can connect to these Dawsons, and their related families... :)
I would prefer contact through my Address at:
Asmodeus@doitnow.com for any replies, but I am not overly picky.
Thanks
