Surnames: Jamieson; Farquar; Taylor; Morris; Welsh
I was looking up information on my husbands Scotish relatives and saw that we have several similar names, but I'm not sure how they line up and was hoping you might enlighten me. Here's the info I have: James Farquhar(born about 1755 in Angus Scotland) married to Mary Welsh(born about 1758 in Kincardineshire) Their daughter: Mary Farquar (born Forfarshire, Angus, Scotland 1786 died 1864 in Kirkden, Angus, Scotland) married Thomas Jamieson (born abt 1786 in Forfashire, Angus, Scotalnd). They were married in Inverkeilor June 17, 1809. Their son James Jamieson (born: March 5, 1812 in Inverkeilor, Forfashire) died Nov 1865 in NY). He married Jane Taylor (Bron apil 15, 1813 in Guthrie, Forfar, Angus) and died 1869 in NY. Their son James J. Jamieson born fef 1833 in Forfarshire, Scotland...emmigrated to NY. His wife was Anna Morris (born in Dundee, Angus, Scotland).
