Looking for any suggestions on who to proceed with finding out info on the parent's of Donald(born 1787) and Angus (born 1783) Campbell.
Donald came to Cape Breton N.S. in 1831 with sons Murdoch born 1805 and Edward born in 1808,and possibly a son Donald and John. Donald died in 1872 in Cape Breton , his death certificate states his parent's were Donald and Rachel Campbell.
Murdoch's tombstone states he was born in Uist. Angus lived in Kilmuir Skye before sailing for Cape Breton in 1833 after marrying his second wife Mary MacDoanld from North Uist.Some others claim the Campbell's came from Bracadale Skye .Any suggestions or ideas on how to search would be very appreciated .
