My ancestors, originally from Scotland,settled in Tennessee
in USA prior to American Revolution.Shaddens believed to enter America through the colony of Virginia,migrated to the Cumberland Plateau by way of North Carolina.Shaddens are in great numbers in the state of Tennessee. I don't know if this info is helpful but ere you go.
