I am looking for information on the Thomson's from Prestwick Ayrshire. William Thomson born about 1856 was my ggrandfather. He married Marion or Minnie Gilchrist about 1870's. My grandfather was born about 1884, William McVean Thomson. Duncan McVean Thomson and John or James Thomson were his brothers. My ggrandfather William, and Duncan were Presbyterian evangelists. They also wrote songs.
