I think I have replied to a message of yours before on the Walker surname board, I think I found this marriage for Mary and Robert for you.
I would be a bit dubious of the Robert Walker birth record you found in 'of Perth' Perthshire this sounds like an LDS website finding?( family search?) alot of these 'about' and 'of ' records are just guesses put in by means of patron sheets, that become part of the IGI data base -and very confusing for people! They often put people on the wrong track.
I have found a birth for a Mary Wylie in Stewarton Ayr 27th March 1761parents James Wylie and Mary Walker,
If you are interested I can give you the URL of a website based around the family search site which only has true records from parish register sources on it .I will have to dig it out though!
