John and Elizabeth Brown Abt.1837 who lived in or about
Alloway,Cragie and Symington,Ayrshire.Children attended elementary and secondary school in Symington. On April 26 1856 John and Elizabeth with their five children sailed aboard
the steamship Waterloo and arrived in the USA on May 28,1856.

Children include:Robert A.,Stuart,William,Mary,Thomas S.and
John A. Brown.All were born in Ayrshire.
