my mother recognised some of the names that you were querying, she remembers them as being uncles and aunts, my mothers name is sarah black dempster,(nee Black Mccrorie) and she resides in Muirkirk, Ayrshire, Scotland. Her father was James Mccrorie born in Ayr, mother Mary Saunders, born in Annbank, Ayrshire.

Mary saunders was my Grandmothers sister. Janet Monaghan Saunders Janet(nanna) was the youngest of (13) children I think.
Mary became a Mcrorie and had a son called Graham .(was there also another son called Tom. My grandmother loved Mary very much and said she was a very caring sister. Nanna married David Jardine and after only a short marriage of less than two years David was killed. leaving Janet with two small children. Marys other sisters were Margaret and Sarah (who moved to Canada) and Elizabeth, Nanna died on July 20th 2004 (I think) nearly made her centenery. Her two children were Agnes and David Jardine
