Researching the McPherson family of Kirkmichael, tenants at Blackhaughs, Paul & Alexander being the dominant names. Paul McPherson (and his brother Peter) moved to Aberdeen c. 1840 and then emigrated to Australia in 1848. His parents were Alexander and Elizabeth Grant. Am atempting to "sort out" all Macphersons in Kirkmichael, so would appreciate contact with anyone with links in the Tomintoul district, not just those connected to the Pauls and Alexanders.
