My gt grandfather Robert Gibson was born in Chirnside around 1841. On his death certificate (he died in Omaru,NZ 1928) his father is listed as James Gibson and his mothers maiden name as Johnston. One of his daughters was called Euphemia. James Gibson was a saddler. Could this be a link?
