James McNicol (b1838 Greenock) was born to Daniel and Catherine (Mcintosh) McNicol. Daniel;s father MAY have been James (b1774 Kilmory, Shiskane Lochranza ??). I am seeking confirmation ofthe accuracy of this line, Any information would be greatly appreciated. James (1838) migrated to Victoria Australia in 1852 and married in 1860 in Ballarat.
