I am looking for information on a William Glendenning known as "of Castle." Believe this refers to an old castle at Barntalloch, across the Esk from Langholm. He is believed to be the youngest son of Alexander Glendenning, chief of the Glendennings at Parton.

Also interested in Roseanne/Anne Kirkpatrick, parents unknown but a sister to Robert Kirkpatrick of Glenkiln who died in 1746 (a firm Jacobite) and also possibly a sister or other relative of George Kirkpatrick of Garrel. Are these three people children of George Kirkpatrick of Knock?

William and Roseanne were married c 1700 and by 1736 were in Co. Down, IRE where both died.
