Help please! Daniel McKenzie, b. 1775 in Scotland near Glasgow, enlisted in the 97th Regiment and was 'in the death' on the great day of Waterloo. He received a pension for his service and injury. He died in New Brunswick, Canada 24 Jan 1879 at age 105. We do not know the name of his wife. We do know that Daniel McKenzie had a daughter Nancy b. 1821 in Scotland and immigrated to New Brunswick before 1850 and another daughter Ann b. 1827 in Ireland who immigrated to New Brunswick and who married Samuel B. Rodday 26 Apr 1851 in that province.

Where would one look to find Daniel McKenzie's military pension records? Can anyone give suggestions about where to go next? - Wendy
