I would like to find any descendants of George Blyth (born in 1787 and died July 4, 1866, in Glasgow. His wife was Ellen Ted. He went to Saint Andrews College and was a Presbyterian missionary in Jamaica in the 1830s and 1840s. After 1850, he published a book entitled Reminiscences of Missionary Life. He had three children that we know about: Robert Blyth (born after 1823). In 1869, Robert's address was Hillhead, Nelson Terrace, Number 13, near Glasgow. There were also two daughters: Catherine (who lived with Robert) and Jessy, who died on October 13, 1854, Glasgow. You have a very large group of US and Canadian cousins who would like to correspond. We have copies of letters from George to his brother, Robert, who immigrated to Canada in the 1830s.
