Thank you for your kind reply. I do not know the Scottish family naming tradition, however, the children are Jennie C., William Darwin, Bessie G., Arthur Edward, and George H. They are listed in order of their birth. He emigrated in 1851 and settled in Wisconsin. He married Isabel or Isabella Duncan and the trip was a "honeymoon" however I have never found a record of marriage. His gravestone and census records say he was born on February 24, 1824. The Arthur name has been passed down if that is any help.
