I believe a John Sutherland b.abt 1788 in Reay, Caithness moved to South Ronaldsay, he was either accompanyed by his wife Catherine Manson or married her there. They had at least two sons, John and Sinclair(1), possibly a third son William and and maybe a daughter Johan from a second marriage. I know Sinclair(1) and his son Sinclair(2) and family went back to Caithness abt 1870. I was hoping you may be able to supply some information on John, his first wife Catherine or his possible second wife Jennet Sinclair?
