Dear John unfortunately the information from John Robertson and Helen Smith is so minimal the only leads sometimes I can gain is by listing other family names to see if they will be recognisable to another family with similar. As this research is on going and whist I do not recognise Mary Ann Smith at present, one never knows what information comes along and as previously stated the Smith family line is somewhat of a mystery. This is what I have at present: I have a John Robertson who married a Helen Smith 12th January 1777, in Tibbermore Perth Scotland they had eight children ranging from 1780 -1795.
