Here is the information you requested. According to the marriage certificate of John Keir ORR he was born abt. 1830, Crofthead Nilston, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He occupation at the time of his marriage in 1856, Victoria, Australia. he was a Cotton Spinner by his death in 1911 his profession was Manufacturer of Cotton. His parents were James ORR occupation Manufacturer of Cotton, Isabella KEIR. John Keir ORR married Janet ELLIOT born abt. 1836 same place. The had no children. Her parents were Robert ELLIOT and Agnes HARLEY.

Australia they maybe connections to both our lines. The first one is unusal as the names are all in my line.

1. Keir Cairns McLEAN b. 1899, parents Robert Elliott McLEAN and Ada Werrett

2. Mary KEIR married Thomas CAIRNS 1971

3. Agnes ELLIOTT born 1849 died 1894 parents Watson thomas ELLIOTT and Margaret KEIR.
