I have run into a dead end with my geneology search. It has been passed down to us that we are direct decendents of Rob Roy MacGregor. We have traced our lineage back to the following:
John MacGregor, b.(?) 1801, c.(?) 5/15/1803 in Aberfoyle, Perth m. Jane Robertson (later moved to Canada) son of
Alexander MacGregor b. or c. 1/12/1777 in Callendar, Perth, m. Margaret McLean
This is where it gets murky, I have found a record of Alexander's father being Gregor who was married to Margaret. Could you help us or direct us to someone who may help us? Thank you.
