William Hutton was baptized in Methven Parish,Perth, 25 September 1730 according to the LDS Family Search Files 102080. Banns were posted in Renfrew, Renfrewshire, for his marriage to Jane Corbet[t] 22 April 1757. They were in Paisley when one child was born, ca. 1763, and relocated to NY, USA about 1773. William Hutton was a cordwainer, shoe maker, in Glasgow, also a farmer, weaver and tanner, Presbyterian. He died in 1816 in Putnam Station, NY, buried in the Old United Presbyterian Cemetery there.Together William and Jane had issue: Margaret, Nancy/Agnes, John, Jane/Jean, Hannah, Ann, William Jr., Peter, Marah, and maybe Eugenia.
