im the great great grandson of samuel and gt grandson of richard born in 1875.richard died in 1946 aged 70...father samuel worked as a gardener and his mother helen (maiden surname Strachan)

i have traced back to samuel and eleanor (d 1913) some census forms are written ellen but copies of certs are written Helen..

Also i have his death cert here 4th dec 1922 stating that he was married twice...1st was Ann Jane Shaw but i cannot find anything about her..

i havent found anything else about samuel as he was born in ireland......im really interested if you have any more info on samuel....he must be burried in Partick..
