Hi Wendy
Thank you for your correspondence Our ancestors seemed to have lived in close proximity! My GGGG grandfather worked for Mr Hay in Dingwall 1798-1800 at least. We have links to Conon Bridge and Maryburgh as well as Dingwall. And I also have Dingwall family members in my tree i have discovered - Ross & Cromarty and Inverness.
I am unsure about Donald Chisholm as there were only 3 chn REGISTERED as being born in the family 1760-80s in my Colin Chisholm-Isabel Mackenzie liaison but I suspect there would have been more and they would have been too poor to pay to have them recorded. Can you give me any more details on Donald please? have a 3 month old on my knee as i write one handed so have to be brief.
This is my email address if you wish to correspond kim.polley@bigpond.com
Kind regards
