looking for information on my ancestors William Scott (abt b
1801- d 1876) who married Isabella Miller/Millar (abt b 1803- d 1879) in 1836. He was a Blacksmith/Ironmonger in Hawick Roxburgshire. His parent's are believed to be Joseph and Margaret (no record so far!). Isabella's parent are George and Helen (East Lothian). They are listed as living in Howgate in 1841 & 1851 census.
They immigrated to Australia in 1851 on "Albatross" with children Joseph, Helen, Margaret (and Isabella?) living at Portland Estate SA Australia.
