I just found your post. I have Waldie relatives that lived in the Borders area of Scotland. My g-g grandfather John Waldie was born in Edinburgh and married Christian Dobson. They moved to Hawick and had 6 children (Ann, Mary, James, John (my g-grandfather), George, and William). Do you have any of these people. John immigrated to Canada and William to Pennsylvania (via Canada). Hope to hear from you.
